
Methadone is a rigorously tested medication that is safe and efficacious for treatment of narcotic withdrawal and dependence. Methadone is a legal medication produced by licensed and approved pharmaceutical companies. Under a physician's supervision, it is administered orally on a daily basis with strict program conditions and guidelines.
The MMTP's operated by Narco Freedom, Inc., are dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment founded on current, evidence-based treatment practices. Admission Criteria:
All individuals seeking methadone treatment will be afforded an evaluation
conducted by a qualified staff member in order to determine if the patient
meets admission criteria. The Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program ensures
that screening standards, as determined by the New York State Office of Alcohol
and Substance Abuse Services, are incorporated in this process.

· Individual must be 21 years of age or older
· Individual must be opiate-dependent
