
Independence is a chemically dependent adult day treatment program that provides intensive counseling to individuals who are chemically dependent on one of the primary chemicals of abuse being alcohol. It is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and provides the highest quality of care to its clients and their family members.
The goals of the Independence program are to aid clients in becoming productive members of society by becoming and maintaining abstinence while restoring harmony in their families.

Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Therapeutic group sessions schedule:
Monday through Friday: 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Saturday:* 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Sunday:* 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Admission Criteria:
- Individual must be 18 years or older
- Individual must have a chemical dependence and be ambulatory
